Michele’s background also includes all aspects of insurance including general liability, workers compensation, and builders’ risk.
Ms. Colburn’s extensive professional background provides an understanding of the unique needs of small to mid-size business and large companies. Her expertise includes accounting in the construction industry as a Property Manager for 80 plus rental units, and additionally comprises applicant screening, executing lease agreements, collections, scheduling repairs and large project management. Michele’s understanding includes reconciling bank draws at each level of construction, processing related payroll, taxes, and yearly audit preparation.
Michele holds additional professional experience in the Consulting, and Marketing industries where she served as Accounting Manager and the utilization of the marketing industry’s proprietary accounting system known as “Workamajig.” While working as the Accounting Manager, she expanded her knowledge in job costing and solutions to account aging.
